What I didn't really like was the rests at the beginning. I really wanted to play right from the start and not rest for 8 measures or so. The CD will be kind of hard to follow if you don't count, so if your looking for music that has easier countings, look for another unless you're going to count. Other than those flaws, this is a very useful book, the solos sound great, and are fun. You can learn a lot from these even if your experienced or mid-level. Even beginniners that are very determined and have a private lesson teacher will find this book useful in their learning. The scores included contains beautiful melodies and with the cd you feel that you are playing with an orchestra. The CD contains demos played with flute and orchestra and traks with orchestra only.
