I recently bought a Yamaha flute that was quite expensive and it was advertised as having a solid silver headjoint. ONLY yamaha owners – how do i confirm that it is indeed solid silver and not just plate? I cant find the word SILVER or a Hallmark on it anywhere and i am worried that the online supplier has pulled a fast one.
